When you support The Reif, you invest in more than performances and classes. You invest in the vitality of our entire community.
The arts play a powerful role in our local economy. At the Reif Arts Council, we spent $1,507,594 in our most recently completed season. Our research (conducted with the Arts and Economic Prosperity calculations method) indicates that this translated into an economic impact of $2,069,344 for our community. That means that without the Reif Center here, the community would have been poorer by over $2 million this past fiscal year. Our research also shows that that there is the equivalent of 63 Full Time Jobs in our community that are supported--directly or indirectly--by the expenditures of the Reif Center and the audiences we generate. This economic impact also translated into $81,282 in local government revenue and $91,757 in additional revenue to the state of Minnesota.

Reif Arts Council Endowment Fund
The Reif Arts Council has a separately held endowment fund at the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation. As the endowment grows, it helps sustain The Reif for future generations.
